Azmi & Co was founded in 1978as a sole proprietorship, established in the wake of the dissolution of the chartered-surveyor partnership Lee & Azmi. From that practice grew the Azmi Group of Companies — a nationwide consultancy that has advised on property for nearly five decades.

The Perak branch carries that lineage into Ipoh, pairing on-the-ground knowledge of the local market with the standards, discipline and resources of the wider group.
